Knitted vein and arteries grafts

Advanced cardiovascular surgical techniques allow the replacement of damaged or malfunctioning arteries and veins with textile vascular grafts. Knitted grafts are made of synthetic material and designed with an anti-stretch weave to avoid the risk of fraying or wear at the ends. Artificial textile veins can be made in different designs and diameters, but the main distinction is between linear and bifurcated knitted grafts. Products obtained on our machines require appropriate finishing processes and specific treatments.
